Samantha Tieger writes pop songs with a sixties influence.

Still in high school, the sixteen-year-old songwriter/guitarist has set her young music career on a positive course with contributions from some Cincinnati veterans.

Helping Tieger in her development is Stan Hertzman, a manager well known in Cincinnati for his work with Adrian Belew, The Goshorn Brothers, pyschodots, and The Greenhorns.

When working on her first recordings Tieger turned to producer/guitarist Ric Hordinski (Over the Rhine, David Wilcox, Tony Levin, Victor Wooten, Victoria Williams, Robbie Fulks). The results were slices of radio-accessible pop with universal themes of finding love and figuring out where life is leading.

Tieger and Hertzman are now focused on creating a full length and have signed on Brian Bacchus (former A&R at Blue Note) and Jay Newland (Norah Jones) to produce it.
