Giselle Grayson emerges on the music scene as one of this nation’s most promising artists of this generation. Appropriately dubbed “The New Voice of R&B”, she is often compared to Christina Aguilera and Beyonce. Writing, arranging, and executive producing her entire debut album, Giselle is poised to take the music industry by storm. With amazing vulnerability she writes solely from her life experiences, presenting a diverse album ranging from contemporary R&B, club-pumping Hip-Hop, to radio-ready Pop.

It is no surprise that with the release of her first single, “Get Nasty”, Giselle quickly claimed the #2 MySpace Top Artist spot. Giselle brings her powerful lyrics and music alive, commanding the stage with the strength and raw soul of her voice. This Texas-born songbird began performing at the age of 3 and has since graced the stage with, Willie Nelson, John Lee Hooker, and the legendary BB King.

Working with Nashville’s power-house record label, AMI, at age 9, Giselle continued to take the stage beside music legends. Relocating to Cincinnati, she became a student at the University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music at the age of 13, performing in over 400 shows as a student of one of the most highly recognized music programs in the world.

By age 17, this talented young singer/songwriter began recording with the Lobo Recording team in New York City; the same team whose production credits include international chart toppers Destiny’s child, J.Lo, and Ginuwine. Giselle’s single Unforgiving Kind was released in New York, Miami, Paris and London, drawing a huge underground fan base for the soulful R&B artist.

Giselle continues to support her Cincinnati home, relocating to the city from Los Angeles to record and release her debut album Fallen Angel. Thirty percent of the proceeds from the Fallen Angel album release party were donated to Cincinnati School for Creative & Performing Arts, Urban League of Greater Cincinnati, and the Katie Reider 500Kin365 organization.

Following the success of her debut release, the fall of 2008 brought great success for Giselle. Receiving her first Hip-Hop Award nomination for Best Female Vocalist, taping the Top 20 Countdown with VH1, and working with the legendary Sean “P. Diddy” Combs in Atlanta, Giselle’s success and rapidly growing fan base continued to soar.

As the landmark election year continued to unfold, Grayson was recommended by the board of the Ohio Hip Hop Awards to join BET’s “Respect My Vote Tour” headlined by T.I., the King of the South. Inspired and impassioned to encourage a strong voter turn-out, Giselle worked with her management team, MBJ Entertainment, and the Ohio Governor’s Office to launch a statewide tour, “Cincy Rocks the Vote. Joined by major artists in Ohio, including the legendary Bootsy Collins, Giselle headlined the tour as they worked with the cities and public schools to inform youth and rock the vote! Giselle’s efforts made headlines in the Midwest and garnered her an invitation to join the, then Senator Barak Obama’s, Democratic Presidential campaign.

Giselle is currently working with MTV on a new series scheduled for Fall 2009. Continuing to give back on an even broader scale, Giselle is also working on fund raising events for the National Coalition against Domestic Violence as well as a fund raising bash for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Performing for intimate crowds of twenty, or packed stadiums broadcast nationally, Giselle delivers a phenomenal show every time she takes her passion to the stage. Sweet Southern charm and an undeniably original sound make this young beautiful girl, simply unforgettable!
